Not unlike most private businesses, Maramia Designs was created out of frustration. I simply grew tired of shopping for myself or for one of my friends, and finding nothing but overpriced and uninspiring choices when it came to costume jewelry. Jewelry By Mignon consists of jewelry designed and handmade by me – Mignon. The jewelry started with beading and has progressed to include hammered designs, simple wire wrapping, and my latest addition is soldered designs. I work in sterling silver, argentium silver, copper, and surgical steel french hooks are always available for those who need them. Custom orders are always welcome including requests for 14 karat gold.

Diane, the jewelry artist behind DK Designs, has been beading for over 15 years, and has traveled to and attended many beading conferences and workshops learning many different beading techniques. She learned the art of “Lamp Working” over 9 years ago. “Creating Glass Beads with Glass Rods and a Torch”, sparked her creativity to produce varied and unique jewelry designs. Diane’s creations can be seen on her website and at shows throughout the southeast.
