Not unlike most private businesses, Maramia Designs was created out of frustration. I simply grew tired of shopping for myself or for one of my friends, and finding nothing but overpriced and uninspiring choices when it came to costume jewelry.

What I learned that day about beading and crimping, and designing was challenging as I had no prior experience with this. Yet, I found myself completely in love with the idea of designing my own quality jewelry, and I made a decision right then and there that this…is what I want to do!
In the short time that I have been creating these unique pieces, the word has spread faster than peanut butter on toast, and now, the majority of my business comes from referrals by my satisfied clients. Sometimes I don’t know what excites them more, the compliments they receive when wearing a Maramia Designs, or when they brag to their friends about having their own “private jewelry designer”.
